Esplanade PLAYtime! 2026 — The Amazing Sarong

PLAYtime! returns to Esplanade with a new production, The Amazing Sarong, running from 14 to 30 August 2026 at Esplanade Theatre Studio. Based on Quek Hong Shin's children's book, the stage adaptation follows siblings Nora and Adi as they discover that their mother's sarong can become anything their imagination allows — from sails and secret hideouts to costumes and capes. The 45-minute performance takes young audiences on a playful adventure filled with surprises, laughter, and new encounters.

All performances are Relaxed Performances, welcoming children with diverse sensory needs. Children aged 3 to 6 are the primary audience. All patrons, including infants in arms, must hold a valid ticket.
