Estuarine crocodiles can often be spotted basking on the mudflats near the main bridge and lookout points year-round. The park's dramatic granite rock formations rising beside a still lake resemble the karst hills of Guilin in China — hence the nickname. The rocks are the remains of a disused granite quarry that flooded in the 1980s, since regrown with greenery. It's free, open 24 hours, and has its own small playground and sand pit.
